06:54 a.m. - view southward across the "Gamlemshaugen" headland and "Gamlemssundet" into the direction of "Soevik" - on the left you can see the shipyard "Vard Soeviknes", where the expedition cruise liner "Viking Polaris" for "Viking Cruises" is currently being finalized - we have a fantastic clear view this morning, because in the background, about 40 km away, you can see a part of the "Sunnmoere Alps", east of the Hjoerundfjorden, here up to 1400 m high (to compare, please visit day 4, pages 2 - 5 again) |
