09:20 p.m. - due to the wonderful weather, the captain decided not to choose the usual route north via "Tromsoe", but to sail between the islands "Senja" and "Kvaloeya" northwestward towards the Atlantic Ocean, in order to show the passengers the beautiful western coast of "Kvaloeya" later on - of course there was also the possibility to see whales, which unfortunately didn't work out - we are exactly west of the small island "Edoeya" and are looking southward across the island "Hekkinga" to the coast of "Senja" - the sharp peak on the left belongs to the 742 m high "Astritind" |
