At the pier you can see the steam engined icebreaker Stettin, to the right of it the floating crane "Karl Friedrich Steen" and to the left of it the former ferry Bergedorf. The distinctive red building is a retirement residence, a new building from 1994, but in its appearance reminds of the UNION cold store, built in 1926 at the same place. |
