In 1875 "Johannes Dalmann" built the first "Quay Storehouse A" (called "Emperor Storehouse"). After WW II the bombed storehouse was demolished and replaced by a new one in 1963. Since 2005, the outer walls of the former "Quay Storehouse A" are integrated into the construction of the "Elbe Philharmonic Concert Hall" by the Swiss architects "Herzog & de Meuron". |
