| Comment | Because of the beautiful weather we decided after breakfast to perform the longest excursion this day: into the south down to "Å", the southernmost village of the main islands. All photos from that day show why many Norwegians say: if you visit the Lofoten Islands, you'll fall in love with this archipelago - provided the weather is like it was on June 6th 2011 -. This photo shows the 942 m high "Vågakallen" near "Henningsvær". Morning mist still covered its northeastern flank. |
