Comment | June 2nd - 4th: grey and rainy weather, therefore no more photos from these days. The rescue boat Kaptein Skaugen is leaving the harbour. The sculpture on a rock at the harbour entrance is the "Fiskarkona", a fisherman's wife, to be remembered as the "backbone" of culture and society of the Norwegian coastal population. While her husband spends 90%! of the time at sea, she takes care of the home, farm and children. |
