Location Gjesværstappan, Barents Sea near Magerøya (Finnmark, N)
Comment view to the northeast. The knife blade type peninsula in the background is the unspectacular, but real "North Cape", because it extends 200 m more to the north than the well-known "North Cape". Since both places are situated on an island, they don't mark the northernmost point of the European mainland. The many spots on the water are Razorbills and Puffins. Additionally the trawler Støttværingen is visible.
