| Comment | en route with a speedboat on excursion to the "Saltstraumen": at the time of the highest flow rate (about 40 Km/h) at the narrowest point whirlpools are formed up to 10 m wide and up to 5 m deep. (Unfortunately, because of the bad weather and the restless water no better photos were manageable - in that case the www offers a number of good photos and even videos -). |
