Additional Information 2nd ship of the sonamed "Potsdam" class, type OPV 86 (4 vessels so far, 6 vessels planned), also see >BP 81 Potsdam< and >BP 83 Bad Düben< - stationed in Rostock-Warnemuende - hull yard: UAB Vakaru "Baltijos" Laivu Statykla (Western Baltija Shipbuilding (WBS)), Klaipeda, Lithuania (No. ?) - equipped with 1 hdraulic Navy crane "MKG 1101" - in contrast to earlier vessels, the ships of this class are to be permanently armed with one Bofors 57mm Mk 110 Mod 0 naval gun (not yet installed). This was justified by the extended range of tasks of the Coast Guard and the necessity to be able to stop even large ships if necessary.
