Additional Information 4th "Fridtjof Nansen" class frigate [FF] of type F 310 (Project 6088) (5 vessels, also see >HNoMS Otto Sverdrup<) - frigate squadron, Bergen - main armament: 8x NSM SSM, 1x 8-cell VLS SAM system Mk 41 (32 Sea Sparrow missiles), 1x 76-mm gun OTO Melara SuperRapid DP, 2x fixed twin 324 mm ASW torpedo tubes (Stingray torpedos) - on November 8th 2018, northeast of the "Store Oil & Gas Terminal" (island "Stura", about 50 km northwest of Bergen, Norway), the southbound frigate collided with the fully loaded, northbound crude oil tanker >Sola TS<, which had left the terminal shortly before. Due to the severe damage, the frigate sank almost completely over the next days and could not be raised until March 2019. Afterwards the wreck had been laid up at Haakonsvern Naval Base, near Bergen until January 2021 and was then towed to Hanøytangen (Hanøyna, Hordaland), where it arrived on February 8th 2021 for demolition by Westscrap Nord AS, Hanøytangen.
