2nd ship of a series of identically constructed multi purpose dry cargo ships (3 vessels) - equipped with 4 cranes of a lifting capacity of 12.5 ts each - on December 1st 2012 the ship encountered mechanical problems in Atlantic en route from Canary Islands to Azores. A tug was requested to assist the distressed vessel. Tug >PERO DE TEIRE< from Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Azores assisted >Hacinin Ahmet< by either towing or escorting the vessel to Ponta Delgada. The ship arrived Ponta Delgada in the morning of December 3rd and has been laid up there since then. According to "Equasis.org": total loss (November 30th 2012) - according to Vesseltracker: unknown status, last AIS signal on January 3rd 2013. |
