Additional Information |
type ship of a pair of identically constructed passenger ships, also see the sister ship >Adler-Vineta< - registry no.: "H 12785" - 1st painting >HADAG< - the above given IMO isn't valid any longer - on April 4th 2015 the ship arrived Papenburg, Germany as part of a pushing unit for demolition by DA Schiffsverwertung GmbH & Co. KG. History: in January 2014, the ship had been sold by HADAG to the shipping company Böttcher, Rostock and since then was layed up in Hamburg at the Julius Grube shipyard since extensive reconstructions were required, which hadn't been carried out. However in April 2015, the shipping company chose an alternative of buying the >Nordstern< (now >Hanse<, also see there) from the PSB (Personen-Schifffahrt-Brunsbüttel). |
