1st ship of the "Repubblica di Genova" class (3 vessels), also see >Repubblica di Roma< - the ship was lengthened in 1990, total lane length: 2,389 m, equipped with 2 cranes of a lifting capacity of 35 ts each. On March 3rd 2007 the ship capsized in Verrebroekdock of the Antwerp harbour, was salvaged in August 2007 by Svitzer Salvage and on November 11th 2007 the wreck was towaged to Antwerp Shiprepair. In 2009 the ship was renamed >Daewoo Frontier< and in 2010 >Frontier<. On August 16th 2010 >Frontier< arrived Alang and was beached on August 23rd for demolition by Indian breakers. |
